How We Build…

As a Legend Homes client, you will receive top quality service throughout each phase of the planning, building and finishing process. There will be a Walk-Through Inspection to be sure you are happy with everything. You will be given an orientation tour to demonstrate all the features of your new Legend home. We will provide excellent instructions on how to care for and protect your home for a lifetime of wonderful memories. We are so sure that your new home will be built to your satisfaction that we provide a One-Year builder’s warranty.

Below is a list of the standard values we incorporate into each Legend home.

  1. Homes designed to reflect unique living concepts

  2. Careful site analysis toward elevation layout

  3. Evaluations for budget determination

  4. Necessary permits for the construction process

  5. All sand or granular structural backfill under concrete

  6. Garage floors have concrete reinforcement #4 wire grid

  7. Rectangular grid layout of sawn joints in basement floors to control cracking

  8. Air entrained 4000 # PSI concrete

  9. Minimum footing sizes 8" x 18" with 2-#4 rebars.

  10. All foundation walls Cast In Place concrete with 3-#4 horizontal rebars. 8" thick concrete at frame walls

  11. 4" ADS plastic footing tile drains to sump or daylight with 12"-18" washed gravel cover

  12. Completely Warranted Dry Basement with rubber wall coating

  13. Bent aluminum flashings at porch/patio wall intersections

  14. All dissimilar materials of wood and masonry caulked to seal out the elements

  15. Center span bearing for 1st floor joists on steel beams with steel columns

  16. OSB subfloor panels nailed with screw type pallet nails

  17. LVL/ trussed headers over garage door to eliminate sag

  18. 3-2 x 12 cut Douglas Fir Rough stringers at all stairways

  35. Ceramic tile shower floors to have composite pan flashing with portland cement base

  36. Ceramic tile shower walls installed with thin set mortar over ½" cement board underlayment

  38. All closets designed with single hanging Epoxy wire shelving

All jobsites have cell phone and two way radio contact with office and management personnel. This provides safety at jobsite and instantaneous messaging.
